Service was on point, very nice and helpful. Nice mountain steakhouse ambiance. Everyone at our table was satisfied with their choice of food and we had a wide range of order. I would eat here again when we come back to Glenwood, thank you Juicy Lucy's!

Plus: The food is always above average. As locals we know Juicy Lucy's is the best restaurant in Glenwood. Great menu options, nice, warm bread to start. Full bar. Minus: We also know to expect mediocre service. It's not a large place and they always appear to have plenty of staff (designated host, designated bartender, two bussers on a Wednesday night and four wait staff on the floor) however, it's usually a long wait to be greeted (it was) typically it's a wait to be seated (it was not, there were only two of us and it was early). Then it could be another long wait to see a server (very long tonight). Plus: Once we ordered the appetizer arrived promptly, as did the entrees. And everything was delicious. Minus: Then we didn't see the server again until our plates had been stacked, drinks were empty, credit card was on the table. We hadn't been approached since we ordered. Plus: it's a very nicely appointed dining room, perfect for a cozy date night but appropriate for families as well Minus: Parking in downtown Glenwood Springs is always at a premium. Be prepared to walk a block or two. Plus: Downtown Glenwood is historic and fun. Minus: It is the best option in Glenwood so the price tag reflects that.

I had an early dinner here on Valentines Day around 4:30pm. I had the Brie stuffed portobello mushroom. It was delicious but small. I also had the seventh street salad. It was delicious but also small. These two paired together made a nice small dinner for me eating light. The service was good on Valentine's Day and they gave each date a red rose. Nice touch.

When I came here last fall, Matt - from New Hampshire - talked me into the CO lamb chops, and I was very pleased with my choice, including sides. I also ordered a delicious cocktail (see photo). The ambiance is nice & relaxing, near the river, and is a short walk from the Hotel Denver. Great service.

Terrific food! The steak cuts are really superb. I asked for my Kanas City strip to be medium-rare, but most of it was medium. A bit stuffy inside. Better air circulation would be preferred . Very friendly service, albeit on the slow side.

We had a lovely time at Lucy's Steakhouse for our Honeymoon celebration. We went early on Friday night to beat the wait and was able to get a booth right when we walked in. We started off with drinks - I enjoyed the Moscow Mule which was very fresh and tasty, and my husband had the Black Cherry New Fashioned! He's not a huge drinker, but loved the flavor profile of this drink so he had to have another. It was very tasty! The bread was a little hard, but had a good tangy taste. The next course was the salads, which unforatunately came out really quick so we couldn't enjoy our drinks, but that's okay we just slowed down the pace of the meal ourselves. The Lucy House salad with beans and wontons was very fresh. It could have used some more vinegar, but overall the freshness won it for us. Our steaks also came out before we had finished our salads so that was a bit of a bummer. Once we dug into our meals they were A+. Really the star of the show was the baked potato. It was very tender and had a good flavor profile that you don't normally get with baked potatoes, they are typically very bland. I enjoyed the New York Strip and my husband had the Rib eye - both were cooked well and had enough flavor you didn't need the steak sauce. Overall the meal was good, a bit pricey, but you are at a steakhouse. Would dine here again.
